The summer flower garden is abundant in its generosity. When I think of Summer, I think of Roses. The tones, the fragrance and the silky petals become softer as they open and age.  Combine these with a tangle of Scabious, Alchemilla mollis, Aquilegia and fresh herbs and the season explodes with colour and scent. Cornflowers, Snapdragons, Stocks and Foxgloves, the list of British, locally grown blooms is endless. Foliage becomes more robust, Beech and Oak create incredible shapes and give a feeling of abundance. The bright light of summer allows deeper colours to be used with confidence and our designs reflect the natural beauty and profusion of this Season!
