A little about my floral journey!

My love of flowers, plants and gardens was absorbed throughout my childhood in both the Essex countryside and the wilder environment of the Scottish Highlands.  After taking a break when I had my children, I studied at the Chelsea Physic Garden and in the gardens of Great Dixter, both exquisite and unique places which intensified my love of the growing environment. I knew that I wanted to work with flowers in some capacity and the connection between growing and arranging was always at the forefront of my mind.

After finishing a floral design diploma in London, I have continued to seek out fellow designers whose work inspires and excites me. Scent and movement are essential in my designs, but I strive to take this further and echo the way that plants grow and interact with each other, thereby connecting us to the very heart of nature and seasonality.

My cutting Garden was the natural next step.  I love working with British Flowers, using blooms that are perfectly imperfect, their delicacy complimenting nature. I working as sustainably as possible and keeping a low environmental footprint is intrinsic to our ethos.  The cutting areas hum with the sound of bees and jiggle with butterfly wings.
