Autumn is one of my favourite seasons in both the garden and in floral design. The possibilities for bringing the outside in are endless, with the wealth of seed heads, berries, branches, grasses and changing foliage. Dahlias take over from the roses with their breadth of colour and tone. Leaves change daily and are as pleasing to the eye as any bloom. The light too, softens and shadows lengthen, the second flush of roses are more delicate and muted and every bit as precious as the first. Hydrangea heads create drama, and are as exquisite once dried as when they first appear. My Autumn designs are vibrant in colour and texture bringing together all the very best that this beautiful season has to offer.
