The beginning of the horticultural year brings with it the first signs of Spring and the promise of things to come. In the garden, the early bulbs create pools of interest and movement. These are echoed in our Spring designs with delicate foliage and blooms; tones are vibrant and fresh. The season stretches from softly scented Narcissi to full blown Peonies, squeaky fresh Tulips and the delicate swaying heads of Fritillaries. Lilac and Spiraea join this abundance of fragrance and colour. This is the season of new growth and blossom, fresh winds and bright sunshine, as April showers gently give way to the lengthening days and warmth of May.
